Rolland
Garros: Women’s fashion
Paris 2014
Braudia GM
Pty Ltd is lucky to have our contracted photographer covering all of the tennis
action at the Parisian Tennis Clay court event. Each year, thousdands of tennis
fanatics flock to the croissant capital to catch a glimpse of their favorite
players slide on the clay surface. Although I will be reporting over the next
week on the perils faced by the players, we are going to ease you in gently,
commencing out ‘Roland Garros’ account with the fashions that have been classy
and the ones that have clashed dramatically with that burnt orange surface we
all know so well. Paris, the fashion capital of the world inspires many women
to ‘amp’ up their style.
So far, we
have seen fashion statements by the best in the business; Russia’s endorsement
queen Maria Sharapova, Canadian’s girl next door Eugenie Bouchard and America’s out spoken and firey Serena William’s. Although Serena, was bumped out sooner than we
expected, she brought what she often is known for bringing and that was
outlandish and interesting court sports wear. The ‘Nike’ sponsored player, has
been accused of many fashion faux pas in the past, however it wasn’t a terrible
display throughout her time at this tournament, with fun loving colours
bringing a bright change to the usual ‘block colours’ that players tend to stick
too.
There's really only one thing left to say #damnfine #demlegs #yeahgirl
